Weigh in day!

Today is Weigh In Day!! I lost 0.8 pounds. Puts me exactly at 94 pounds lost. Sometimes I can’t believe it, it has taken about 4 years to get to this point.

I had joined the National Weight Control registry, since I kept off at least 30 pounds over the last 4 years.

They sent me a survey today, which is pretty detailed about what I eat and how I think about the food I eat. It’s going to take some time to fill that out!

Going out to dinner tonight. There is construction outside of our house, and the water is being turned off from 3pm to 7pm. So, rather than be inconvenienced trying to cook and clean up without the water, we are going to bike somewhere to eat. Probably for pizza.

Been traveling back and forth to a conference, so I apologize for the lack of updates.
Today is the last day there, so tomorrow I can sleep!!
I have done quite well on food at the conference, brought my own dinner, ate the lunch there (at a culinary school, no less), and ate the healthy snacks provided.
I even snuck away to use the treadmill to get exercise in. What a geek I am!

So – I lost 1.6 pounds this week!
Pretty happy about that. Firmly in the 150s, and a great loss for me.

Yippee!! I lost 1.6 pounds this week, which puts me in the 150s!! Yay!!! I think the jogging and biking was a good exercise change up to keep the pounds coming off. Wish I could lose this much every week!

I was supposed to do C25K Week 3 Day 3 today, I use the little podcasts to tell me when to start and stop jogging. Well, halfway through the warmup – the batteries died on my MP3 player (note to self – always check the batteries before leaving home).

So, since I was already at the track, I decided to alternate walk one time around and jog one time around. I did 4 laps walking and 5 jogging. So 2.25 miles. I decided to see how far I could go around on the last jog – and did 2 laps around the track. I can jog for 1/2 a mile at a time! I am so excited!

Well – lost 0.4 pounds today. I am exactly 160, didn’t dip into the 150s. If I can’t get there next week…… LOL!
Did a lot of exercise today. Walked to Dunkin Donuts as per usual Wed brekkie. However, they were closed for renovations! So went back home and drove to a different one.

I then did my C25K week 2 Day 3 workout. Phew. My legs were really tired from yesterday’s hills on the bike.

Then did upper body bowflex workout.

DH and I *then* went for a bike ride tonight. Of course – there is an ice cream shop on the bike path, so we stopped there. I had a kiddie size scoop of Pumpkin ice cream and it was delicious! It seemed a big scoop for kiddie size. John got the small size and that was 2 scoops! No wonder America is fat. Anyway, about a 1/2 hour ride or so. I think it was around 6-7 miles. I need to be careful not to over do exercise in an effort to lose more quickly. Bad trap to set for myself.

I lost 1.2 pounds!! WooHoo! So close to the 150s.

Today was a heavy workout day. I did Day 2 of Couch to 5K. I decided to get up early and go, since it was going to be a lot warmer in the afternoon. My body wasn’t that thrilled about jogging at 7am! But, I did it.
I also did my full body bowflex workout. I think next week I am going to spread it out over 4 days, instead of doing full body 3 days a week.
Then I raked leaves. It isn’t even fall, and I had to rake leaves at my flip house – since it obviously wasn’t done last fall.

I lost 0.8 pounds this week! I am still losing even though I have started serious strength training. That is great!

I am now going to do Nutrisystem foods 3 days per week (instead of every other day). Those days will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
My calorie goal per day is 1350, with 2 days at 1500 (Wed and Sun). I really don’t want to drop my calories any more until I hit a plateau.

Today I went over by 35 calories, but I ended up with extra exercise.

Weigh in day!

Today is weigh in day, and I lost 2 pounds! After losing 0.2 last week, this was a nice change LOL! I was concerned that the new lifting program would make me maintain again, but it didn’t. Hope it continues.
The good news is – according to my BMI I am no longer obese, just overweight!

Today’s food. Note that I ate out twice and still came in under calories (1500). This is called working my program! Not that I would do this very often LOL!

Weigh in day!

Lost 0.2 pounds this week. No big deal, I didn’t eat poorly last week, so could be any number of things.

I slept very poorly last night, though – and today I feel like a bottomless pit. I don’t know why being tired makes me hungry, but it does. I have eaten about 2000 calories today, which is quite high for me. Could be worse – but I don’t like that empty feeling. The extra calories are coming from the foods I normally have in the house, at least it isn’t McDonald’s or anything. Still bothersome to have a binge, though.
I did do some extra exercise to help offset some of the food.

We were planning on going our to split a calzone tomorrow, but I might put the kibosh on that, since I did not eat well today.

Weigh in day!

Lost 1.8 pounds this week. WooHoo!! That puts me just over 85 pounds down now! Still focused and still on track.

Well, I lost a whopping 0.2 pounds. What is that, almost a 1/4 pound. LOL! I am fairly ambivalent about it. I didn’t really do anything out of the ordinary to stall. There is the fear of a plateau in the back of my mind, though. Since I got stuck about 5 pounds higher than this a couple years ago.
