Another 100% day

Felt good today, in control and on track. I found a couple before pictures which are really humiliating to look at. I know that is silly, but I really looked horrible before. Same person inside – just didn’t look so good on the outside.

Breakfast
Nutrisystem low fat granola with fat free plain yogurt, a tsp of honey and chopped strawberries. Coffee with milk

Lunch:
NS whipped sweet potatoes
1oz of 75% reduced fat cheddar (surprisingly good!)

Snack:
Latte with 1% milk
Clementines

Dinner:
NS Chicken patty on whole grain light wheat with 2 tbsp of cranberry sauce – sooooo good!
Steamed cauliflower and broccoli
Clementines

NS Nutrichocolates. First time having these, not bad – they taste a little butterscotchy to me, but I liked them.

weigh in day!

Well, the results from Turkey Day are in. I lost 0.4 pounds! With the big loss of 4.4 pounds last week and the holiday weekend, I was pleased to have a loss.

Only 1.5 pounds until I get into the 170s! Or, *back* into the 170s LOL!

Looking at how well I have been eating as of late. I follow nutrisystem for all but about 3 meals per week. 2 breakfasts and one dinner out each week. I guess that makes me about 85% on plan by paper, but since those meals out are calorie counted for – they don’t hurt my progress.
I still struggle with the dinner. For example, we were out last night (DH’s choice for winning the football picks) – and I just really wanted a fried seafood meal. They had a fried scallop and clam strips dinner, and it just sounded so good! It was a real struggle for me to not give in and get that.
I ended up getting roasted pork tenderloin and gravy with a baked potato (dry). It came with a small cup of applesauce. I portioned out what I needed to fuel my body and it was quite tasty – and I didn’t feel deprived or anything. I am not sure what I would have done if weigh in day wasn’t today. 🙂

Good day today

100% on track today.
Calories came in right around 1300. Did 2 mile exercise DVD and got in my water. Other than it being rainy, dreary and cold today – it was a good day!

Breakfast:
NutriSystem lowfat granola
1/2 cup non fat plain yogurt
chopped strawberries
1 tsp honey

1 cup of milk made into cafe au lait

Lunch:
NS Cheesy whipped sweet potatoes
1 oz of roast chicken

Snack
latte made with 1 cup milk
fruit cup

Dinner
NS Hamburger
2 slices of whole grain bread (70 calories for 2 slices!!)
applesauce cup
1 cup of steamed broccoli and cauiliflower
.3 oz cashews

Snack
Hot tea
NS chocolate peanut butter bar

Are you ready for some football??

Sundays are so great this time of year. I love football! Go Broncos!

I also love bagels. Sunday is traditionally bagel day for us. We go out for bagels for breakfast. Sometimes I bring an NS entree, sometimes I have a bagel. Today I had a multigrain bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. It was sooooooooooooo good!

Still not sure if I am going to see any damage from Thanksgiving on the scale or not next week. I see too many people freaking out over weight gain. Most of it is water, and when you eat off plan and eat too much – you are going to gain…..

Had the thin crust pizza with turkey pepperoni for dinner. This is pretty yummy, with a side of steamed broccoli.

On track – and snow!

Got our first snowfall today. About an inch of heavy white stuff. Then it turned to sleet. What a great day to stay indoors snuggled under a blanket!

Had the Flame broiled beef patty today. My styrofoam puck that turns into a decent and yummy dinner! I put some worchestershire sauce in the tray before adding the boiling water.
The only thing I don’t like about the burger is that it gets cold very fast, and it isn’t as good that way LOL! Wish it were just a bit thicker to help it stay warm.

Need to pick up a few groceries tomorrow – I do not want to go to the store on the day before Thanksgiving!! Ahhhhh!! Maybe during the day won’t be so bad.

For dessert tonight, I tried the Chocolate crunch bar. Yum!!! It was really, really good! I gave DH a bite, and he really liked it too!

Nutrisystem box arrived today!

Well, my food arrived today. I cannot believe that I was excited about it LOL! I have really grown to enjoy a lot of these foods.

Got a bunch of lunch bars, since I should be started a house rehab project in a couple weeks – so need portable lunches.

First thing I grabbed was my whipped sweet potatoes for lunch. I couldn’t wait to have the mac and cheese for dinner! Still food obsessed, I see…….. 🙂

On a funny note – the new advanced line from NS includes omega 3s from fish. Well – apparently my cat can smell these, because she grabbed a bar from my desk after rubbing all over it – and it was still wrapped!

Staying on plan over the weekend.

Well – no car this weekend, so I can’t go anywhere LOL! I could walk to Dunkin Donuts. Maybe for a latte light later or something. If I get stir crazy.

Making a big effort to stay on plan for the weekend. And the week coming up. With Thanksgiving thursday, gotta help myself anyway I can.
I have enough NS dinners and desserts to get me through until my box arrives on Monday. Doing good with my own meals.
Oat bran with blueberries for breakfast. I so love oat bran. It is very filling!
Lunch will be a turkey burger and steamed broccoli.

Last night I tried the Thai noodles in peanut sauce entree from NS. Nope – don’t like it! The tofu had a really funny texture. Of course, I don’t normally eat tofu – so maybe the texture was as it should be LOL! The sauce also had a ton of garlic in it. You know how you taste a sauce, and can tell how bad your breath is going to be?? Good thing DH is out of town LOL! The cat doesn’t care, at least.

Weigh in

Well, I gained .8 pounds this week. Not totally sure why. I really hope it is not the start of a plateau. I already consume only 1300 calories a day. Will just have to see what the next week brings. I ended up drinking some extra light egg nog yesterday, a mini binge – I suppose, but had to stop that in its tracks right away.

My Nutrisystem food order is delayed. It was supposed to be here today. I was hoping to have it tomorrow at the latest so that I could eat the whole weekend being 100% NS. Looks like it might not be here until Monday. I do have enough dinners and close to enough desserts, but am totally out of breakfasts and lunches.

No candy on Halloween!

I did not indulge in a single piece of candy on Halloween. And you know what? It was because I really and truly didn’t want any. I didn’t feel deprived or anything. We have the raisinettes left, and I still haven’t had the desire to have any.
I actually get pretty full on the food I eat, and with a snack between meals, there isn’t much time to eat anything extra!!

Made my own breakfast today of oat bran, topped with my blueberry sauce (post below) and turkey sausage. The nutrient distribution was right where it should be. 40/30/30. Trying to push that nutrisystem auto delivery back some more. Think I will plan on having my box ship the week of Thanksgiving.

Great Weigh in!!

Lost 3.4 pounds this week! I donated blood yesterday, so maybe one pound of this loss is from the pint they took. But even factoring that in, that is 2.4 pounds. A little concerned that this is too much for a week, but not complaining too much. 🙂

In viewing my food on fitday.com – I seem to lose more when I bump my calories up to the 1350 range, rather than 1200. Not too surprising to me, considering how much I have to lose. I just don’t want to plateau again… please!!!

Overall, I am pleased with nutrisystem. It does work, and how they pack all that extra fiber and protein into low cal foods is beyond me!
