Staying on track

Yesterday, went out to dinner and I had a bit too much to eat. Got in my water and exercise, though. Today I am totally on track!

Tried the Apple streudel scone for breakfast. It was very good! Definitely will be adding more of these to my breakfast order.
I had the chicken and dumplings for dinner. One of my favorite entrees – and they had been out of stock for a couple months. Glad to have that back!

The weekend

Upon looking back over this week, I am pretty pleased at how I was able to get back on track. I did eat too much on Christmas Eve – but I have no guilt, because I enjoyed every bite. Yum!
Been wearing my pedometer to my rehab house. Just doing work around this 990 square foot house and I walk about 4000 steps!

Going to a winter fest in Albany this weekend. I am going to bring a lunch bar and some string cheese, plus some clementines. I am sure we can find somewhere decent to eat, but you never know.

Went to Applebees for dinner last night. I had the weight watcher teriyaki shrimp and beef dinner. It was really good. 7 points – which means around 350-400 calories for the meal. It fits in pretty well with NS guidelines as well.

My nutrisystem food won’t be here until Wednesday. I have enough lunches – but only have 1 more breakfast and 1 more dinner. Need to be very careful on eating right.

Weigh in day!

Well- the day after Christmas, and I had my normal weigh in. I lost 2 pounds! I am totally shocked. I stepped on the scale several times, and moved it around just to make sure I was reading it correctly. Must be some kind of fluke LOL!

Back on track yesterday and doing well. I think that I will buy myself the Firm Transfirmation as a reward for getting into the 170s.

Happy Holidays!

Well, I did eat too much on Christmas eve. That was the day of our big dinner.
However, I got right back on track on Christmas day! Ate 3 nutrisystem meals, and even did not have any cake or pie when we went to the family’s house.
I had some coffee and a couple clementines. So proud of myself. I did not feel deprived at all – since I honestly had no desire for any more rich food. Yesterday was about all I could take.

We do have some cookies left over, and I received some food as gifts. We froze all remaining cookies and petit fours, so they are at least out of sight.

Weigh in day!

December seems to be going much better than November for some reason. Lost 1.4 pounds this week! Wahoo!!

Nutrisystem was supposed to come out with all these new foods. Well, not even one is on the autoship page. If you order ala carte, you can buy the new foods, but regular customers can’t get them yet. Grrrrr…….

Why make a big announcement if you aren’t going to follow through?

Shovel, shovel

I am tired of shoveling! I do have to say that it is good exercise, though. A nice change up from my usual aerobics. However, it sucks having to do 2 driveways.

I ate well on plan this weekend. We did not get out for our normal bagel breakfast on Sunday, due to the snow. However, I did have a gingerbread donut from Dunkin Donuts. It may be snowing, but DD is within walking distance of our house! I think the shoveling offset that donut pretty well LOL!

Nutrisystem introduced their new advanced line of foods, but none of the new entrees are online yet. Bummer.

Weigh in!

Well – lost another 1.8 pounds!! WooHoo! That means I am in the 170s with a little real estate cushion!

Getting lots of snow today, which means exercise in the form of shoveling. My own driveway and the one at my flip house. Phew!

Not eating under stress

I have been under a lot of stress from my latest real estate deal. We were supposed to close 2 weeks ago, and finally closed today after a roller coaster ride. I am so proud of myself to not eat all kinds of food during this stressful time. And there is chocolate in the house! DH bought specialty chocolate bars, and dark chocolate emmies! I have had a few of the m&ms, but not bad (and not as many as I wanted!).

Had the new advanced Cranberry Orange pastry. This is much better than the Nourish version. It tastes much more fresh and with none of that fake cranberry taste to it. I only wish it was a bit bigger. It’s only 100 calories, and the other breakfasts are around 150, so I was hungry before lunch.

Weigh in day

Lost one pound this week. Yay!! I am soooo close to the 170s. A tiny 1/2 pound away. Ate out at 99 restaurant last night. It was a little tough finding something reasonable to eat. Either portions were too large – or they were fried. I ended up getting a combo with a grilled shrimp skewer and a crab cake that was skillet cooked instead of deep fried. Had it with 2 sides of steamed broccoli and I gave the biscuit to DH (can’t believe I did that!!).
They serve popcorn before meals, isn’t that funny? So I had about a cup of that. I loooove popcorn. All in all, don’t think I did too bad, and with a pound loss today – I am happy!

The Weekend!

Saturday was a 100% on plan day. Today, a little struggle. I am only going to be at around 1500 calories for the day, but definitely was hungry.
I really wanted a Dunkin Donuts gingerbread donut, but instead opted for an eggnog latte made at home. Using light eggnog mixed with 1% milk. So – instead of a 300 calorie donut, I had 140 calorie addition to my latte. An okay choice, but not great. I also ate a few soy crisps before lunch.

Expecting a winter storm tonight – gearing up for snow shoveling tomorrow! At least that is good exercise.
