I am home and pretty tired. The show was long (3 days) and not great. The nice thing is the same promoter does a show in November and he offered me a half price booth for that show if I wanted it since attendance was lower than expected at this show. That was nice of him. I might take him up on that for November, although I am not a fan of the 3 day shows. Gotta sleep on that.
Back to work Monday, unfortunately, to catch up on what wasn’t done Friday. Then I am promising myself some time in the garden 😀
Sorry to hear the show wasn’t great; maybe people are still in the summer mindset and weren’t ready to think about holiday shopping just yet. Hope you get some rest and rejuvenation in your garden today!
I plan on a ride today and time in the garden tonight 😀
I have to admit, I’m a person who, if the weather is good doesn’t think a bit about craft shows, bazaars, shopping or such in any way, shape, or form. They are popping up all over the place around here but I’m still in beach mode lol.
I’d bet if you took the sponsor up on his offer, you’d do much better but I can see why you’d be hesitant. Hope your day back to work isn’t as awful as you expect!
I think I will take the offer. 3 days is a long show, though and tiring. These particular shows have been going for 20 years, so the low attendance was not expected.
I agree that a 3 day show is a lot to handle – it’s hard work! Hope you get your garden time in soon 😀
Sorry to hear that Lori!! November is close to holidays so it might be a good time! xoxo
Sorry that the show wasn’t what was expected. What Jody says makes sense, maybe November will be good so close to the holidays.
Hope you had a good rest and some quality relaxing time in the garden yesterday.
