I’ve been in a good groove lately. Eating well and exercising. Actually seeing some results, too, which is a nice change.
I still need to work on the relaxing thing. It’s been a little busy here. I am doing a show this weekend, so I have been getting ready for that. It’s outdoors, and I’m not crazy about doing outdoor shows because I don’t like having my product out in the weather. Even though I have a covered tent, the humidity is what I don’t like. Not sure how well this show will go. It’s the Larac show that I love to go to each year, but it’s a week later than usual and falls on Father’s Day weekend. Guess I’ll find out!
On the soap business front, my products are going to be in a store locally!
There is a new business opening in the Shirt Factory (where I did the open house) and they are going to sell items made in the north country. It’s actually the owners of the building, so I guess they don’t have to worry about rent LOL! I had submitted an application to them and they called me today. They remembered me from the open house last fall and want me to bring in stuff next week. Yay! One step at a time.
Riding has been going along swimmingly (??). I am trying to get out earlier now to beat the heat. I was on the path to the lake today to get in a hill workout. There are some really nice shady areas on the path:
It’s soooo green around here. It’s wonderful.
Summer is really a short season around here. Or maybe it just seems that way LOL! Not much riding this weekend with the show, unfortunately, so I need to get riding in during the week. Blooming post coming up for Friday!
Congrats on getting the soap into a local shop!
It’s also lush and green around here too. I love it!
Thanks!
Love that scenery Lori AND so happy for your soap showing! How exciting!
I just love how green it gets back there. And your breakfast looks so good. I actually have some blueberry topping in the fridge, and am planning on using it to top some protein pancakes tomorrow morning. Looking forward to your blooms.
I had gotten away from the protein pancakes because our little blender broke. I found that I can use an immerson blender, so I have had them several times this week!
I love how green and lush everything looks in your pictures. It is very green down here too but hot and steamy as well.
Congrats on getting your soap into a local store. I hope you sell a bunch of product this weekend. Good luck with your show.
I hope I sell a lot, too LOL!
I love everything about this post. Even with the admission of needing to work on relaxing more, you sound really happy! Congratulations on the expansion of your soap business, that’s just terrific.
Things are going well. We are trying to get plans in motion for me not to do my current job by next year some time. A lot of things have to fall in place, though.
Very cool that your soaps were accepted into the local shop; I always love finding local things whenever I travel, so I bet this will be a popular place. Good luck with the show this weekend, too – hopefully the weather will be just right for both your product and you. 🙂
The Shirt Factory is a cool place in general and I hope that since the building owners are doing this shop, it will stay around for a while.
How cool that they are going to sell your soap, I still am using the last piece (we only use it upstairs in the bathroom). Good luck with the show, hope it won’t be too hot.
I hope the shop does well. It’s supposed to open next weekend.
Yep, having worked in farmers markets this last month, I realize that having a tent doesn’t really change the weather conditions! Good luck this weekend – I am doing one on Sunday too, and wonder what the turn out will be because of Father’s Day 😀
I wonder. I think our craft show won’t be so busy because how many dads are going to want to go to an art show rather than doing the traditional BBQ with family?
GREAT news about the soap being sold by a local vendor! And yay for the market on the weekend. I’m sure you’ll sell out!!!
