Feeling good

You know, there really is something to be said about removing major stressors from your life.

Today I felt really content.  It’s like a big huge exhale happened that we have been holding for a long time.  Sometimes you don’t really understand how much stress you have until it is gone. You know it’s there, but you don’t understand the degree when it is constant.

Life isn’t perfect, but it sure is good.

    What a happy post!

I know what you mean. Last year when I lost my voice and after it came back, I had a light depression for the rest of that year. At first I didn’t know why I was feeling down then it occured to me that losing my voice had given me a lot of stress that I didn’t realize then and that it has been exhausting not to speak normally for 6 months. It took me quite a while to get over it but right now I’m in the same place as you: feeling good!

I hear you on this – and yeah, while it’s happening, you know you’re stressed but you don’t realize just how much until it’s gone. Bet you feel physically lighter, too!

Agreed! It’s amazing how much of a relief moving past something like that can be. A few years ago the husband (then fiance) was involved in a legal suit and even though it wasn’t that big of a deal it was SO STRESSFUL. Oh my god. When it was done we both felt a million times better. Even if you are in the right it’s still a stressful experience dealing with lawyers, the court system, etc. UGH! I hope you are able to move past all this and feel good about your new place. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Yes, like everyone else, I totally get the stress part. Congrats on getting the house sold. That is a very big deal.
