So glad it is Friday. This was a bit of a crazy busy week. It was kind of windy today and I just wasn’t feeling the bike today – I know! So, I just took a walk for exercise. Some fall scenes around the neighborhood.
People like to do up Halloween around here.
.
Focus, Lori! 🙄
I think if I ever wanted a divorce, all I would have to do is buy some of these inflatables and put them in the yard. I think they are kind of fun, but John doesn’t
We have had such nice weather that things haven’t quite given up in the garden yet.
One lonely little coneflower:
The snapdragons.
Not sure why I am having trouble focusing the camera today…
I love the berries on the burning bush, don’t you?
Some late primula? Primrose? I forget what these are.
Pink picture of the day – my nail polish! I actually don’t like the wild shine because it chips easily. Some cheap polishes are just that. 😀
Colder weather this weekend, but we will bundle up and ride to the lake tomorrow!
I like the inflatables to see on other people’s yards, but not for my own. Plus, they are expensive, and people steal them!! 🙁
Have a great weekend.
I wish people decorated here like they do in smaller towns & other places – not much in my area. I miss that from when I was a kid back east! 🙂
Still loving your hanging on blooms!
I’m with John, ha.
I have some serious garden envy! When will your house projects start up again?
I almost missed my fav post! I love that pink polish! Hope you have an excellent ride this weekend .
Hopefully it isn’t so windy today and/or tomorrow so you can get in some serious miles!!!
I like seeing some of the Halloween decorations but I’m with John on the inflatables!!!
OMG my brother-in-law Gary was sooooo meticulous about his yard – and his life. Not at all the type of person you’d think would like an inflatable. Then, during a Christmas Yankee Swap, Little Helen had put in an inflatable Santa and he got it. Unbelieveably he loved that damn thing and asked for more. Such a dichotomy! I miss Gary 🙁
Mr. Helen took down some of the plants off the patio today. But the flowering ones we left. We’ve had such a mild fall the plants keep blooming and I just don’t have the heart to take them down!
Primula is the Genus of the flowering plants in the family Primulaceae,
including the Primrose (P.Vulgaris) . So see they are one in the same really.
Some tags on the plats at the store probably use the Primula and some
say Primrose…
Not too many people around here decorate for the holidays either….and then some still
have xmas lights up from last year…sigh… But the closer we get to Halloween
the more decorations pop up! Hugs! deb
I like it how in the US people celebrate Halloween this way. Outside decorations here in Holland for Christmas is booming but I’m not doing that. I like to keep it simple for our own home.
Great to see you still have so much blooming in your garden in October.
