Did you know today is Blog Your Heart Out Day? This is to raise awareness of heart disease in women. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women. It seems that as women, we all focus on breast cancer, but heart disease is the truly underestimated disease – and one that we have direct control over.

- Heart disease kills 1 woman every single minute?
- 90% of all women have at least 1 risk factor for heart disease
- 80% of cardiac events in women may be prevented by making the right choices involving diet, exercise and not smoking. 80%!!

Spread the word. Grab another woman and get out for a walk, some exercise, a healthy shopping trip, or even just to sit down and talk about heart disease.

Good to get the word out! Today, since I have worked my heart big time Sunday – Thursday, I am resting form the heart stuff & will be abs/core/stretching only. I think if you have read my cardio posts, I did enough the past 5 days to last me into today! 🙂

I added 20 minutes of HIIT following my Stage 1 A6 New Rules workout this morning! It felt really good. And I hit the 100 pound mark.

Oh and I’ve been making your protein pancakes and LOVE them!! I made them for hubby this morning. He was kind of nervous about the cottage cheese in them but he thought they were fantastic when he tried them. 🙂
