I have found that I really enjoy the recumbent bike! Never used one before, but I do so love my outdoor biking in warmer weather. I am not as big a fan of the stationary bike. However, the recumbent is nice because it gives back support.
I was feeling a little tired today at the Y, which was just cardio today. I was going to do 30 minutes of jogging, but I just wasn’t feeling it since I did a hard lower body workout yesterday. One of those times where I actually listened to my body. So I told myself that if I jogged for just 15 minutes and walked for 15, then I could ride the recumbent bike. Like it was my reward! LOL!
I also have renamed it. The upright stationary bike works mostly your quadriceps. The recumbent works the glutes because of the configuration. So I now call it the recumbutt bike!
I’ll be on it again tomorrow!
I’ve never tried a recumbent bike before…maybe I’ll give it a go. I don’t like biking because I never feel any other muscles working except my quads.

I wish I had a recumbutt bike at my gym too! Sounds nice to give your glutes a good workout while getting in cardio time too!
