Lifting Move of the Week

Lots of rain rolled through last night.  We needed it, too.  It cleared up for me to bike to the gym, though.  I first had a slice of bread with some nut butter on it as my pre workout snack  (okay, a little chocolate  fluff on there, too).

The routine:

Exercise
Set/rep/weight
Muscle worked

Close-grip lat pulldown

Had a good night’s sleep last night, which felt very good!  I made myself a protein drink and headed out to the gym:

Hello everyone!  Back to lifting!

Started with a preworkout snack:
No more of these for preworkout fuel.  They are just too weeny.
Today started stage 5 of New Rules of Lifting:

1-arm dumbbell snatch:  4 x 4 at 25 pounds
Single leg dumbbell dead lift:  4 x 4 at 30 pounds
