I slept great last night! Probably because I took a Tylenol PM since my back was bothering me a touch. I think my disk will probably bother me forever, I guess. Interesting note, 5 months after herniating my disk and I still have skin numbness in my knee. I am beginning to think that is [...] The rain finally ended overnight with the low at 47 when we woke up. That is within the bike riding threshold, so we hit the road. Decided on street route only, as the path probably would have eaten us alive like quicksand! I don’t mind the road riding on an early weekend morning when the [...] (The new power cord arrived this morning, so I am up and running again with my own computer – happy, happy day!) Rainy day. Got up and it was cloudy, but not raining and J and I were going to go out running. By the time we got dressed and had a prerun snack – [...] Chilly morning, but we decided to brave it and bike to breakfast to Panera and back. In the 40s, so we were pretty bundled up. It was a gorgeous ride, though. Some great foliage with dark skies behind. Foliage Felt good to get there and have some hot coffee with my blueberry bagel!
So we went shopping and got Halloween stuff. Decided on Snyders pretzel snack packs and Jax snack packs. These don’t tempt me, and they aren’t all sugary, so it’s a good thing. However, John wanted candy corn. Now, he does not have the problem with candy corn that I do. It’s like crack to me. [...] My next race is tomorrow. Not sure what to expect. It should be really nice weather, and the race doesn’t start until 10 am, so it won’t be too cold. Fell into some candy corn tonight. Went to my parents’ house, where my nieces were staying over.
