Thoughts for Paris

I just scrubbed another post because trivial stuff doesn’t matter in the face of hatred.  Please someone help me understand what goes through a person’s mind to commit atrocities? I can’t understand it. It’s just so depressing.

My thoughts are with the people of Paris, and really the world because there are truly evil people out there.

The lack of regard for life is incomprehensible to me. My heart and prayers go out to the people of Paris. Yet again, we are reminded what the world needs is the hope of salvation through Jesus.

You are right, Lori, anything else seems so trivial just now.

I’m with you Lori. Everything else seems totally irrelevant in the face of such evil, dysfunctional thinking. Lighting a candle for Paris and being grateful for blogs like yours that in their small way bring people closer, reminding us that no matter where we live or how different our jobs and families, we are all very, very similar and so are our lives. We sleep, we eat, we love, laugh, have good days and bad, and all get on as best we can. I’m going to focus on that.

    Peace on earth…..

It is so sad what happened. Apparently this has become a part of the society we have. Paris is only 6 hours away from me. I’m afraid this isn’t the end of it either, most European countries are fighting the war in Syria including mine. I expect it to happen again somewhere in Europe.

Today at noon there is a 1 minute silence in every country in Europe to pay our respect to the victims.
