Get ready for lots of pictures! I loved the flower show! Of course, it was snowing on the way down there 🙄 There were a ton of different displays and entries into themed designs. There was a large room that was set up with landscaping by professionals.
It smelled like fresh mulch in the room and it was heaven 😀 All of these displays were set up in an ice rink. It’s amazing that in 4 days they can transform an ice rink into an outdoor oasis.
Of course, this display won best in show.

The orchid society was there as well with tons of different kinds of orchids.

There was a huge marketplace as well and I could have spent a billion dollars in there, but I managed to only spend $4 LOL. I bought 2 Astilibes for $2 each as a show special. I just really enjoyed looked at all the blooms.

Okay, I better stop. I have something like 100 pictures 😀
Now I really can’t wait to get out there in the garden!!
Beautiful! You had a good time. 🙂
Wonderful pictures!
So pretty!
Amazing!!! So hard to believe that they can transform an indoor venue like that!!
Beautiful Lori!! Was that one shed a rain shed?? Where they have water flowing over the roof into a pond?? Kinda looks like that.. Years ago we had a display like that at a garden center where i worked. It was wonderful. Love all the photos! Thank you for the taste of Spring! Hugs! deb
I think that was just a fountain. There were a lot of water features.
Oh boy, you definitely got your flower and garden fix! But now it makes you even more itchy to get out there in your own yard (I’m relating how I feel when I go to a quilt show.) And I was wondering if they had stuff for sale at these shows, and then you answered that. It really made me laugh that you got out of there for only $4.
Well, I almost bought a $30 bottle of mead LOL! They had samplings and it was really good. I had to be really careful about what I buy because I haven’t even worked the ground or planned where stuff is going – and I already have those Bluestone flower specials that will be arriving in May.
I CANT BELIEVE the paradox of the flowers and the fact it was STILL STILL STILL SNOWING outside!!
Oooooo, thanks Lori! That was refreshing. Only wish we had smellaweb.
I think I’ve given up hope on doing anything different with my yard this year. I’m just hoping what we have comes back. I can’t even imagine you being able to contain yourself to $4 lol! After seeing all that beauty, do you feel frustrated that you can’t dig into your own soil?
I am curious as to what will come back as well. The only saving grace was that large blanket of snow to protect the plants from the bitter, bitter cold.
Yeah, I want to get out there and work the soil pretty bad about now. 😀
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now what is with the snowing! It must stop!!! 🙂
How awesome. I’d love to know how to transform my backyard into a tranquil oasis. No idea where to start but I love seeing all the ideas. I just love flowers and plants – great pictures!!
Oh, I love a good flower show! Glad you got a bit of spring. And knock-knock, looks like “Beyoncè” enjoys the flowers, too! ????
What fun! Thanks for sharing. I hope you show more 🙂
Wow what a cool flower show. For a garden lover as you this must have been heaven for you.
SOOOOO beautiful!!!!! Glad you got to go to the show!
Oh my goodness. Your kind of paradise. Love the photos.
The Chinese garden display looks just like the Chinese Gardens here in Portland!
