Hunkering down and tail chasing

Well, all the buzz around here is Nemo and the havoc waiting to happen. They keep upping our snow totals.

That 18-24 box is just a hair from the border from us, too.  It better stay there. You keep hoping they are wrong and this will just kind of drift offshore, but doesn’t seem likely anymore. From weather.com:

The heaviest snow totals by early Sunday morning are expected in New England from coastal Maine to Connecticut, as well as the Adirondacks of Upstate New York (my home)!

Wahhh!!  I was saying to John that the coastal areas at least moderate some temperature wise and the snow melts. Our snow stays around!

I ran out of work before lunch and decided to take a 1 mile walk before lunch. It was cold today, too! 12 degrees and I think that was enough for me, especially with the breeze.  I had thought I might go out again later, but I’ll stick to the trainer, thank you.

On a fun note. You all know that I love Pixie dearly.  However, she doesn’t always seem like the brightest bulb out there.  She chases her tail every day pretty much and it just makes me laugh, especially when she catches it.  Here she was this morning romping around.  I love how she looks so annoyed at her tail :D

Silly girl :D

We are going out tonight to get some coffee before snow lockdown! Plus gas up the car. Thank goodness I work from home, although I don’t know how much work there will be if everyone cancels their appointments tomorrow.  Shovels are at the ready.

Stay safe Northeast peeps – and stay off the roads!!
