Paying up the football dinner

*Don’t forget the Sahale Snackers Give Away if you haven’t entered yet!*

Thursday already.  Time just zooms by with all the things we are cramming in and doing.  Kind of a mish mash post today.

Last night I visited with Mr.  Boo in his new home!

Look how happy he is 😀  Such a nice kitty.  I think he still loves me!

Hooray for rescued kitties!

John won the football picks last weekend, so it was out to dinner tonight.  His choice:

Gloating much??

I drowned my sorrow in a half pint of Guinness.

I know it is weird to see beer on the blog, isn’t it?  There will be another one later this month when we finish the floors, too LOL!  I actually really enjoy beer, but just don’t drink very often anymore.

I chose to have Shepherd’s Pie for my entree.

This was tasty, too.  We had a groupon to use, so I thought I was going to get off easy for the football dinner, but turns out it could only be used for lunch and not dinner.  Booo….  At least the groupon is good until March of 2013,  so we will have to come back.

Today’s pink item?  Pixie’s toy.  Looks a little orange in this lighting, but it is neon pink.

Moving the furniture around because of putting in the floors has been a gold mine of lost kitty toys (among other things).

What a handsome and happy kitty!

That shepherd’s pie looks amazing. I might have to try making that this winter. I am cold all the time now, and definitely thinking about warm comforting foods! Had an amazing bowl of custard oats the other day. Hadn’t had those in ages!

Ooh, Mr Boo looks very happy AND in love with you. 🙂 I’m sure he would instantly come home with you if he got the opportunity..

I could use the shephers’s pie now, but I have to fix myself some breakfast instead.

Shepherd’s Pie is one of those foods that we ate so much when I was growing up – and was filled with stuff I really didn’t care for – that I cannot eat as an adult. But I have to say, yours looks delish. Appropriate to have Guinness at an Irish restaurant – glad you enjoyed even though you lost!

Mr. Boo does indeed look very happy.

I could not believe how many kitty toys I discovered when I moved my bedroom furniture – namely, the dresser. It was kind of embarrassing, but obviously they kept disappearing and we kept buying more, lol!

Mr. Boo. What a content cat. Perfect ending to his hobo beginning.

AWWW!!!!! Lucky, lucky Mr. Boo!!!! He DOES look happy in his new home. What a cutie!!! Shhh…don’t tell Pixie you were stepping out on her and allowing another kitty on to your lap! 🙂 Neva has the EXACT same neon toy. And come to think of it, we haven’t seen it in a while. Maybe we should check behind furniture. Have a great Friday Lori!!

Ya know, if you’d quit reminding people about that giveaway, I’d have much better chance of winning….LOL! Hope you guys have a great weekend. Tell John he looks quite dapper with his new facial hair.

How nice that Mr. Boo found a new home. If it wasn’t for you, he’d still be wandering outside.

The shephards pie looks delicious, can you believe I never had this but it’s on my list to make someday.
I don’t drink beer, ever. I just don’t like the taste of it. Give me wine however …. 🙂
