As I am sure you are aware, I don't eat waffles, although they are good. My wife and kids do eat them though. In fact, one item on my to-do list before I go back to work is to repair the waffle iron. My wife has a really old one that does great, but, as most really old things do, it needs repairs.

I have never had the blood mobile give me my iron number. I'll need to ask next time.

I thought the start fruit reminded me of strawberries, but it has been years since I have had one. They are too expensive to eat often.

YAY!! You got a waffle maker!!! I always cook mine till they're a nice dark brown to get them crispy. I have yet to burn them. Sometimes I'll also throw them under the broiler in my toaster oven. Can't wait to see your creations!

It just occurred to me that our gyms may get a whole lot busier with the new year. Boo.

Oh, and interesting about the starfruit! I always assumed it would be citrusy...

I use a GT Express 101 to do the wraps (guilty of infomercial lure), although I have been known to use to fry pans to do it as well!

Thinking about it: I never eat wafles, yours look very good!
I also don't eat pancakes for breakfast often, maybe once or twice a year on Sunday mornings. I will get back to making breakfast for us in 2010 on Sundays. We do have a bread baking machine which I hardly use anymore and fresh baked bread in the morning smells so delicious!

Great that you donate blood. I'm afraid of needles so I don't give blood but I do give money to the cancer organization in our country.

Thanks for donating blood. I have to get back on a donating schedule.

I'm afraid to think how crowded the gym is going to be next week.

I can't remember the last time I had a waffle. ENJOY!

Big congrats on the workout of course! Yes, the people that disappeared for a few days were back to work off their holiday food in my gym too! I do a circuit training workout with the weights which means no rest & I go from one move to another, switching body parts so I am still strong. When you are ready, give that a try. I also sometimes do core/abs in between moves!

As always, I love the pics & man, those waffles look YUMMY!!!!

Course that snuggy looks very warm & making me want to get back under that heated blanket of mine very soon for my after gym sleep! :-)
