I had my first dates (the fruit) a few months ago while out of town - I was shocked. They are so good! I can't find them in any stores here though.

Congrats on "graduating"! Must be an awesome feeling of accomplishment, huh?

It does feel all holidayish around here, and I am loving it! I have a menu and a plan for the big T-day so I am actually looking forward to it and not worried about going overboard at all. Not to mention, I'm walking a 5k that morning which will help.

Weekends are the best! We have a big cleaning-fest every Friday afternoon so we don't have to do much over the weekend in terms of housework. Just enjoy relaxing, etc!

Your oatmeal looks great! I'm not an eggnog person, but for my hubby, it's just not the holidays without it!

Hope you have a great weekend, wish mine started this early. That eggnog sign brought back flashbacks. When I was in my early 20's I dropped almost 100 lbs but then I entered college and the stress began. It was eggnog season and during the course of 1 month I gained back 21 lbs by drinking gallons and gallons of eggnog. I think it cured me of my eggnog addiction and now when I think of the stuff it kind of makes me go "hmmm nope don't think I'll have any of that" lol.

Ohmygosh, we both had dates on our oatmeal yesterday! Isn't it weird that this is a frequent coincidence with us? I had dates on top again today because it was sooo good yesterday, with some coconut too ;)

I'm not a fan of big slobbery dogs either. Not to own anyways. My mom has a little poodle and it seems so much easier to care for!

Good luck on your last workout today!

I love dates and walnuts together in oatmeal, in yogurt, by themselves, etc. etc. etc. Yummy stir-fry!
