Final September Challenge Check in!

Okay everyone!  How did you do on your personal challenges this month?

I did not hit mine to lose 4 pounds.  I lost 3 for the month.  I actually did hit 4 and a little more gone over the weekend, but Monday’s Indian food and resultant bloat caused a pop up on the scale.  C’est la vie!

So, I am going to make a list of all participants, and each time you checked in over the month will give you another entry into the drawing for some fresh roasted coffee!  Again, if you are chosen and don’t drink coffee (!!!!!), we’ll figure something else out.

Come back later to see another NROWL video!

Pfft, I still say you totally hit your goal!!! 😀 You looked awesome in your anniversary dress anyways, you should be proud of that! 🙂

Not really sure how to “measure” my goal. BUT, in the past month I’ve used my new kitchen more than I used my old one all summer. So that’s something! I’ve been lagging a little this week, I baked muffins and used my crock pot, but that’s it. I’m trying to whittle down my fresh food in anticipation of my vacation, and to be honest, I’ve just been craving really simple foods. Can’t wait to start experimenting again when I get back though 🙂

Well, I blew it on my September challenge goal. I’d wanted to get into the 170s. I’m actually up 2.4 since 9/2, right at 185.6.

I learned something, though, which should be obvious now: scale goals are so elusive as one gets closer to goal, and perhaps setting behavior/habit-developing goals will serve me better. Need to ponder this some more….

I stuck to my goal, but it was a fairly easy one (except for the really stressful days!). Didn’t drink wine on weekdays, just weekends — except for one dinner out.
For the next challenge I’ll aim to trim that down to one night a week TOTAL and make it a non-habit. As in, I can have it if I really want it, but don’t have it every Sat night just b/c it’s my “routine” to have it. Amazing how fast habit can step in, and then you have to differentiate your cravings from your habits!

Well, as you know, I wrote on my blog about making my goal. I was so excited. Even though it was a really small amount of weight, I never thought I’d get here. Thanks for having this little challenge. It seems the motivation helped most of us!

Congrats to everyone on their goals. I was aiming for a 4 pound loss…..I went the wrong way and had a 5 pound gain. I know it will be somewhat temporary. I had no intention of letting nearly two weeks of vacation get the best of me…however it did. I’m back on plan and want to see 10 pounds gone in October. I did horribly on my goal and don’t drink coffee so feel free to leave me out!
